
NORTH TABLE MOUNTAIN aka THE GOLDEN CLIFFS
The long basalt cliff band of North Table Mountain is one of the most popular climbing areas near Denver. Overlooking the city of Golden and the Coors Brewery, North Table Mountain, (aka Golden Cliffs) offers hundreds of sunny climbing routes for beginners and experts.

North Table Mountain is also easily accessed from Denver by highway and major roads. After you're done climbing, you can stop in for a tour of the Coors Brewery or visit the American Mountaineering Museum at the American Alpine Club's headquarters in Golden.
Location
Head to Golden via I-70 west or US Hwy 6 west. As you enter town hang a left on Washington St. Follow Washington to 1st street and take another left. Get to Partridge Cr and take a right. This will lead to Ptarmigan St. which wil turn into Perry Pkwy. Follow Perry onto a dirt road that will lead to one of two parking lots. The trail heads uphill from there.
