What Will I Learn?
- Sport of rock climbing lead
- Equipment needs for safely setting up anchors
- Proper hand, rope and gear placement
- Develop an understanding about the equipment, safety and techniques needed for lead climbing
What Does the Class Include?
- Full Day: 7-8 hours, usually from 8a.m. to 4p.m. Includes an hour lunch, setup and cleanup time.
- AMGA certified top rope professional instructors
- All equipment: ropes, shoes, harness and helmet
- All climbing will be age/skill level appropriate
- On most occasions, a short hike to and from climbing site
What to Pack/Bring
- Comfortable shoes and clothes for the weather
- Sun protection
- Munchies, if you would like
- Water, 3 to 4 bottles is recommended
