Jack Roberts
Jack Roberts has been climbing for 34 years and has climbed throughout Colorado for 18 years.
Jack is a published author with his first book (guide), Colorado Ice and is a frequent contributing author to Climbing magazine,
Rock & Ice magazine and the American Alpine Journal. He was awarded recognition at the Banff Book Festival as having
written the finest article of the year in the 1997 Canadian Alpine journal.
His articles and photographs have appeared numerous times in national climbing journals and magazines. These include the following issues:
In addition he is frequently requested as a guest instructor, lecturer, and presenter of slide shows at climbing events and festivals. He regularly provides clinics on ice and alpine climbing at The Barrel Ice Festival, Ouray Ice Festival, Canmore Ice Festival and at the Pont Rogue Ice Festival in Quebec, Canada. Currently he offers three different multi-media presentations to climbing clubs, retailers and various other organizations including Frozen Fun, a history of ice climbing in Colorado.
