Experience the Garden:
Located minutes from downtown Colorado Springs and just forty-five minutes from Denver, This park is a beautiful oasis known as the Garden of The Gods.
Along with the awe inspiring scenery, this park is also home to unbelievable year round rock climbing. The formations in the park are striking to look at but even more exciting to experience first hand. These formations, some soaring to over 300 feet, are sandstone fins that offer awesome and spectacular climbing for all ages and abilities of children and adults. For the established climber, FRCC can take you to the more challenging routes the Garden has to offer.
Location:
Garden of the Gods is located on the western edge of Colorado Springs. From Denver, take I-25 south to the Garden of the Gods exit and head west to 30th Street where you will take a left. From there take a right into the main park entrance.
What to pack/bring:
- Comfortable shoes and clothes for the weather
- Sun protection
- Munchies, if you would like
- Water, 3 to 4 bottles is recommended
